Comforted by his words and impressed with his song.

Suean''s Fresh Foods, a division of SAE Unlimited LLC, will contribute proceeds from the pesto products to choral arts and music programs.  Sueann is currently the president of Music Matters, Inc. and has the same passion to encourage the youth to experience music in their life.  Paul's wife, Pat, and Sueann will designate where the proceeds will go.  Please read the stories below about Paul.  I hope you have met a person like Paul in your life.  I am grateful to have met him.

The story:

Meeting Paul made such an impression with me. It was my first time with Jubilate Novum Choir, Anne Armetta - director, and as a first soprano, I was placed next to Paul, 1st chair bass.  In a crowded room with many people mingling around before the session would start, I was briefly introduced to Paul by my friend who invited me to the choir.  We made pleasant hellos and I sat down.  You never know when you sit next to someone in this context if they are gong to talk with others around you or what the people in the room will do, so I looked over my music as I waited for the rehearsal to start.  And then Paul turned to me and started to talk.  I don't know if any of you ever experienced this but suddenly I was swept up with a feeling of peace I have never know another person to offer by just words.  Paul had a way to make you feel so comfortable and as if you know him for years and his love for you was present all of the those and here we were only knowing each other for a few minutes.  It was a start of an engaging friendship that I looked forward to every week when we would meet.

We had a gathering of the choir at the end of this season and everyone brought something to pass.  I brought my pesto.  I had the luxury of sitting next to Paul while we ate and he had some of my pesto on his plate.  He told me he enjoys pesto and when he tried mine he was impressed.  He encouraged me on that day that I needed to offer this to others and sell this as a product.

When a friend, coming from an honest loving heart as Paul did tells you he so enjoyed the pesto and I need to share it, you do it.

This pesto product is here, in part, because of Paul's words, encouragement and the peace he offered.

A message and thoughts about Paul from his wife Pat:

To say that Paul liked music would be like saying he liked pesto...a little. Paul's first exposure to music was sitting in front of a record playing, listening to Peter and the Wolf at age 2-3. He took ballet lessons (yes, that's right!) at age four. As a young boy, he sang in a choir as a boy soprano. Paul had accordion lessons during grade school and learned many songs by ear. As his voice changed, Paul moved from  boy soprano to second bass. In high school, he sang in choir, school and community musicals, ending his high school time as a member of the New Jersey High School All State choir. When his high school band director needed a saxophone, Paul picked up the sax.  In college, he joined the Marquette University Chorus and acted/sang in some community theatre productions. Jesus Christ got a hold of him when he was 28 and he joined the choir at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI. After that, he joined the Racine Symphonic Chorus which later became the Chorus Arts Society, Jubilate Singers, Holy Redeemer choir and, to round things out, the Country Gentlemen Barber Shop chorus. During one Christmas season, he sang in 15 concerts in 5 different groups.

Yes, Paul loved music and he loved pesto too!
